Cottage Grove
Cottage Grove is a surburban community eight miles to the southeast of the Minneapolis-St Paul conurbation in Minnesota. The city is located in a former agricultural area and currently has a population of over 30,000.
Cottage Grove experienced its major growth from the 1950s to the 1970s with the demand for suburban housing within easy reach of the Twin Cities grew. The Cottage Grove area has a number of historic homes with the best-known probably the Cedarhurst Mansion, now used as a venue for weddings and corporate functions.
